An Open Book: In Which I Liken Myself to Björk
Hello friends, journeyers, bohemian souls,
I need your help!
I need you to ask questions! Anything you’d like to know about me or this blog. I’ll try to answer them on my next post and gather the best in a collaborative FAQ that will be part of “the panda” (about me) section.
What’s in it for you, might you ask? I will personally link/credit each person who asks a question! Think of it as an interactive interview. Anything, and everything! I’ll try to answer as best as I can.
I feel as if I am an open book, just writing itself. I’ve only just begun my new year, new blog, and new journey. I haven’t even begun to settle in my new virtual home and I feel as If I need to better introduce myself to all of you. An icebreaker and orientation, if you will. Help me write the book. Help me complete the pages as I travel from place to place and orate my journey on my stage. Yeah, I tried to sound poetic, but all I came up with was rubbish. This Björk video says it all much better than I can.

Hmm… Why the move to a new domain? What are you most looking forward to in your upcoming year of adventures (India and/or the Philippines)? What are you most afraid of (about your upcoming year of adventures)? What writers/bloggers do you most admire and why?

Will you be starting up your martial arts training again in 2010? The Phillipines has a very solid boxing program that you could look into.
Do the other people in your erotica posts know that thet are being immortalized in blog form? If so, any interesting comments from them after reading of their exploits?

02. If you could be any fictional character, who would you be?
Do I have to keep it to one question? If I do, that one doesn't count as my question. If I don't, my questions are:

I've been following you and your blog for about a year now I believe, and in that time I've learned a ton about you. So I was going to skip this “ask me a question” thing, until some folks started talking about the end of the world via twitter.
If the end of the world will truly be in 2012, where would you want to be as a person (married, single, employed, etc); physically (US, Japan, etc); and spiritually?
To me life is about constant learning, constant improvement, and perpetual motion, so being asked to predict when/what I'd be satisfied with when the world ends is asking me to limit my outlook…and that's just not possible!
Well, grt way 2 enhance interaction…I do have a few questions…
1. Where do u see the Solitary panda going from here?I mean does this new domain mean a transition in writing n modus operandi or is it just like old people switching homes?what can we expect from Floreta as a writer?

hey floreta! While I am not a fan of wordpress much, i don't mind how it looks on you!
I was a little worried you were going to give up on the solitary panda name, remember from quite a while you when you mentioned you were considering it? I think every thing looks great, HOWEVER, I couldn't comment with my BB! The comment form just simply wouldn't show up. I did not try using the mini opera browser I also have installed, but just the BB browser, so it may work on opera.
I love the affection you've had for blogging lately hah.
oh no! do you not like disqus? i wasn't sure about it so any feedback is appreciated. you can login w/ your twitter account or just sign in as guest tho, so you're able to get your website link! it kinda pisses ME off when I don't see someone's blog linked on my comments and I know they blog!
Well, I'm glad you're OK with wordpress on me. I was a bit worried you'd stop reading since you mentioned not liking wordpress on my old blog.. haha. Oh yes, I've gotten feedback to get rid of 'solitary' but I like being Solitary Panda.. even with more of a 'community' on my blog!
And yes, I'm getting back into the blogging spirit, ha! I hope it continues…
But yes, re: disqus.. maybe I'll kill it and just use WPs comment system. hmmm.
I think there are a lot of people who don't like disqus! I'm ok with it, but
it just stinks that you have to sign into another account just to post a
comment. I know LiLu bitches about people auto subscribing to comments.
I'm totally fine with you on wp haha it's no problem, you've been one of the
first blogs I came across so I wouldn't ever dump your blog!
it was just weird that I could not post a comment at all on my blackberry,
when I've done it with disqus on others no problem.
